Our recent journey to Cape Town was nothing short of amazing. Nestled in the city center just off Long Street, our cozy apartment, booked through Booking.com, provided the perfect base for our adventures. One highlight of our trip was the visit to Simon’s Town and Boulders Beach, where we marveled at the African penguins in their natural habitat. The penguin sanctuary at Boulders Beach, though requiring a small fee, offered an unforgettable experience, with the option to purchase memorabilia from a charming churro shop. Simon’s Town became an instant favorite, offering traditional fish and chips at Bertha’s restaurant with breathtaking views of the harbor. The drive back to the city center via Chapman’s Peak treated us to glorious ocean and Table Mountain vistas, albeit with a small fee for the scenic route.
